Bed bugs aren’t something that people like to admit to having. The stigma that surrounds bedbugs allows infestations to get out of hand, especially when people try to treat them themselves.

Using cheap or the wrong chemicals can build resistance in the bugs making them even harder to treat! They live in the seams of mattresses and headboards, and in larger infestations they can be found living in skirting boards, plug sockets, furniture and any other small crack or crevice’s that may be present in the room.

To identify a bed bug infestation, check around the edges of the bedframe and mattress, the headboard, wall and any other potential hiding places for black dots/marks. If you find these, there are the ben bug droppings. If you have a severe infestation, a hat treatment, that kills he eggs may be required.
